Caleb Angell
Constitutional Law Fellow

Before joining Becket as a Constitutional Law Fellow in 2025, Caleb studied theology and Christian ethics at the University of Oxford, most recently completing a Master of Studies. Prior to that, he held several legal positions with the federal government, including as an Honors Attorney within the Department of Defense, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, and a law clerk for the National Nuclear Security Administration.
Caleb earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law, where he was an Associate Note Editor for Syracuse Law Review and worked as a research assistant for the Honorable James E. Baker and Professor Gregory Germain. Caleb holds a B.A. summa cum laude in History & Political Science from Friends University. Originally from a dairy farm in New York’s verdant Hudson Valley, Caleb enjoys agriculture, cinema, baseball, and hosting friends and family with his wife, Emma.
