Elias Wright

Elias joined Becket in August 2026 as a Sidley Fellow. Before coming to Becket, Elias earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he was a notes editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and an external editor for the NYU Journal of Law and Liberty. Elias interned for Chief Judge Robert Shelby on the United States Federal District Court for the District of Utah and will be a law clerk for Judge Sharon Prost on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit following this fellowship. Elias also externed for the New York State Attorney General’s Office.

Elias received his B.S. cum laude in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Utah. Elias speaks Danish and served a two-year mission in Denmark for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, and running with his wife, Katie.
