Timothy Kowalczyk
Constitutional Law Fellow
Tim joined Becket as a Constitutional Law Fellow in September 2025.
Before coming to Becket, Tim served as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Phipps of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and to the Honorable Howard C. Nielson, Jr., of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as president of the St. Thomas More Society and executive articles editor of the University of Chicago Legal Forum.
Before law school, Tim taught philosophy at a homeschooling cooperative. He received his A.B. magna cum laude in Philosophy and Medieval & Renaissance Studies with a minor in Latin from Duke University. He enjoys reading, drawing, his parish, and doing his bit to keep dead languages alive.
